Hounslow Creative Kitchen

  • Hounslow Mayor opens the Creative Kitchen

  • The Creative Kitchen produces 6,500 school meals a day!

The facility is also open to the local community as a place where people and families can learn to cook from scratch or develop their skills in making tasty, nutritious meals at home. The kitchen is also a training hub for Chartwells staff and is used regularly for sessions with Chartwells’ frontline teams on cookery, presentation, food safety, health and safety, and a lot more.

  • Chartwells worked side by side with the client to develop the £250,000 facility.

  • The kitchen was opened in January 2016 by the then mayor of Hounslow, councillor Nisar Malik.

  • The newest Mayor of Hounslow, councillor Ajmer Grewal, attended a “5-a-day” course in November 2016 with Cardinal Road Infants.
