Celebrations as Compass Master Baristas Attain AST License with SCA!

Three of Compass Group UK & Ireland’s Master Baristas, from the Compass Barista Academy, are celebrating this week after being awarded their AST Barista Skills accreditation with the Specialist Coffee Association (SCA). This globally recognised qualification is offered as part of the Compass Master Barista scholarship where baristas receive special training, attend sponsor days to improve their knowledge and skills, and are put through the SCA Coffee Skills programme.

The first baristas within Compass Group UK &I to obtain this high level of specialist qualification, Pari Nepal, Thales Pona, and Razvan Cojocaru are now qualified to teach the SCA Barista Coffee Skills modules over the next three years. In addition, as a result of their accreditation, they have also become members of the SCA.
