Compass Group UK & Ireland has taken home six awards at The Caterer’s 2023 Foodservice Cateys, held on Friday 13th October at The Royal Lancaster, London. The event recognises the individuals, teams and businesses shaping the foodservice industry and tirelessly delivering exceptional service day in, day out.
Eurest won four of Compass’ awards being named –
- Chef Manager of the Year - Mark Price, Eurest
- Chef of the Year - Gemma Evans-Hurley, Eurest
- CSER Award - Eurest
- Front of House Team of the Year - Eurest at Silverstone

Restaurant Associates’, Luxagini Dayanandan was named the Healthy Eating Champion for her work in delivering healthy, nutritious meals, with a focus on sustainability. This recognition reflects her dedication to promoting well-being and delicious, health-conscious dining options across the Restaurant Associates business, for clients and consumers.
She said: “Across our estate we have driven a focus on health and wellbeing, alongside sustainability, so this award is a massive achievement for our whole team.”
In addition, The People and Training Award went to Rapport, highlighting the unwavering commitment to nurturing talent and creating a vibrant, supportive workplace.
