Payne & Gunter launch menu collection in partnership with Dipna Anand


Payne & Gunter, one of London’s leading event caterers, is delighted to announce a partnership with culinary star Dipna Anand. This is the second in an exciting new line-up of collaborations with leading lights from the UK restaurant scene, following Payne & Gunter x River Cottage, which launched this Spring. 

Dipna, known for her celebrated restaurant Brilliant, and the Brilliant cookery school, has put together vibrant menus inspired by the rich and varied dishes of the Punjab and Northern India.

The award-winning Brilliant – part of ‘Gordon Ramsay’s Best’ on Channel 4 - represents 150 years of catering experience and expertise, with passion and experience having been passed down from grandfather to father, and onto the third generation. Dipna seeks to spread this wealth of knowledge and understanding of Indian cuisine, through the restaurant, the Cookery School, her popular book, ‘Beyond Brilliant’ and now exclusive event menus with Payne & Gunter. 

Menus will feature dishes such as a street-food inspired alu papri chaat; a crispy mix of gram flour, chickpeas and potato topped with tamarind sauce and cumin yoghurt, and mains such as mutton biryani; mace and cardamom infused mutton stewed slowly with fragrant basmati rice, flavoured with rose and mint.

Through this exciting collaboration with Payne & Gunter, I can bring the fantastic dishes I grew up with to a wider audience.”
