Marking UN World Children’s Day: how Compass celebrates colleagues’ families, and empowers vulnerable children

This Sunday marks UN World Children’s Day, giving us the opportunity to celebrate how our partnership with Compass empowers vulnerable children.

From Babies with Love donates 100% of profits from our beautiful, organic parental leave gifts to orphaned and abandoned children. A Social Enterprise, we help children in some of the world’s toughest places to be safe, grow up in family homes, learning in schools, and to have health and social care to overcome trauma.

Thanks to our incredible partnerships, together we’re empowering over 45,000 amazing children in 45 countries.

We’ve been working with Compass for two years now; when colleagues welcome a new child into their family, they receive a From Babies with Love gift from Compass. It’s a wonderful and meaningful way to celebrate colleagues, to show how much Compass cares, and at the same time support other children around the world.   

Here are two examples of how our Compass x From Babies with Love partnership is contributing to positive social change:

Children in and fleeing Ukraine

We’re contributing to emergency care for children arriving in the western city of L’viv, such as a Mother & Baby Centre, established and run by our partner SOS Children’s Villages.

In our partnership with Street Child, we’re helping two Ukrainian NGOs to care for children fleeing the war, for example Ukrainian NGO Ridni, who are running spaces for 307 children to feel safe, play and receive psychological support to process what they are going through.

Last Mile Learning programme in Borno State, Nigeria

We’ve supported 1,788 children, many of whom have lost their parents and have been forced to flee their homes, and were out of school, due to the ongoing conflict with Boko Haram. We’ve helped 1,000 children to go through the Last Mile Learning programme and transition back into mainstream education, supporting them with learning materials and school uniforms.
