We’re part of the 30% club
This week, we celebrated International Women’s Day (Monday 8th March) and it’s been a time to reflect on the amazing female talent in our business. We’re committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive workforce and we offer specific training programmes to support this. Mentoring is another way we help development and we recently joined forces with the 30% club – which aims to achieve at least 30% representation of women on all boards and C-suites globally.
We now have 14 Compass Group UK & Ireland participants on their mentoring scheme. These people will be working one-on-one with mentors and mentees from other industries and organisations, helping each other to grow and build on their career for the future, sharing ideas and experiences.
I’m really pleased to be a mentor on the scheme and I’m looking forward to working towards helping someone else learn and develop, as well as learning a bit on the journey myself! Some of the other participants explain why they’re also taking part –
