14forty awarded collaborative business relationships standard certification

14forty, the integrated facilities management business of Compass Group UK & Ireland, the UK’s largest food and support services firm, has been certified to the BS 11000 Collaborative Business Relationships standard.

The certification, presented by BSI, the international business standards company, highlights an individual business’ ability to create a joint vision and objectives with their clients and to develop relationships and work effectively within their partnerships.

14forty was presented with the certification as a result of their partnership with National Grid. The business has been working as the facilities management provider of National Grid since 2009, providing National Grid with soft facilities management services, delivering ground maintenance, catering, cleaning, security and hospitality. The contract was re-awarded to 14forty in December 2015 for a further 7 years. As part of the extended contract arrangement with 14forty adopting the role of FM integrator on behalf of the client.

14forty has also been recognised for their partnership with National Grid after recently winning two prestigious awards. The business won the Partners in Corporate, Private Sector award at the PFM awards on November 2, weeks after winning the Impact on Organisational Performance Award at the BIFM Awards in October.
