24 shortlisted for IGD Award
24, the innovative self-service micro-market, part of Compass Group UK & Ireland, the UK’s largest catering and support services firm, has been shortlisted for the “Innovative Store of the Year” accolade at the IGD Awards 2016.
The market leading 24/7, unmanned, food to go solution has been shortlisted for the prestigious award following the huge success it has experienced since launching to the UK market in 2014. The IGD awards ceremony, held in October, and organised by the research and training charity, celebrates the commitment and innovation of businesses in the food and grocery industry.
24 was the first micro-market to be introduced to the UK and by September this year, 24 will have launched 80 micro-markets in business and industry, government services and hospital client sites across the country.
The foodservice solution provides an interactive shopping experience, with safety monitoring options and a backup system to ensure the facility is always available to customers. It combines the latest cashless and card payment technology, and offers access to over 300 product lines, including cold and heat-to-eat meals to meet the changing needs of workplace catering.
