ESS Support Services Worldwide Offshore (ESS), part of Compass Group UK & Ireland, presented a selection of great quality produce from their exclusive local Aberdeenshire suppliers at the annual Turriff Show.
The ESS exhibitions were situated in the Ferguson Hall, a new attraction at the show this year. An array of local produce was on display; available for sampling and purchasing at their local supplier market, including Wagyu beef burgers, locally caught smoked barbequed kippers and langoustines from The Amity Fish Company.
Also on display were a range of award winning quality meats, Haggis and sausages from Grants of Speyside, The Bay on the Road of Stonehavens fish & chips and Summerhouse Drinks’ handcrafted soft drinks.
Visitors to the hall were also invited to try a ‘taste of Aberdeenshire’ at a range of pop up kitchens, which were linked to the recent launch of a new ESS Global & Street Food brand. The new brand provides a food offer, which is regularly refreshed and incorporates the best flavours from local produce.
The Turriff Show faithful were treated to an excellent culinary experience as Michelin starred Chef Jeremy Medley joined Graham Singer, ESS Executive Chef & Food Operations Manager, for a series of live cooking demonstrations using the fantastic local ingredients.
