New Managing Director appointed for Restaurant Associates
Alice Woodwark has been appointed as Managing Director for Restaurant Associates, the fine-dining sector of Compass Group UK & Ireland.
Alice brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the role, most recently holding the position of Managing Director for Chartwells Independent, where she was instrumental in achieving strong growth, as well as exceptional client satisfaction.
Prior to this, Alice was Group Head of Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions at Compass Group PLC, having joined Compass from McKinsey & Company, where she specialised in operational transformation and business building.
Alice is replacing James Boyle, who is moving to the USA to head up a major global client account for Compass Group, after 11 years with Restaurant Associates.

Restaurant Associates recently announced a charity partnership with Refettorio Felix, a community kitchen based in London. It offers a lunchtime food service to vulnerable members of the community, serving meals from surplus ingredients that would otherwise be wasted. Restaurant Associates will be working with the charity to donate surplus food, but also share the expertise and time of some of its people including chefs. The partnership was launched earlier this month, with a fundraising dinner that raised almost £4k for the charity.
