    Businesses have a responsibility to wider society: to provide workers with opportunities to learn and grow, and to support the communities they operate within. To stay competitive, a business also needs to be able to attract and retain the best talent.

  • Equality and Diversity

    The recent Black Lives Matter movement has put a much needed spotlight on the tragic consequences of racial discrimination and inequality. Let me be clear, at Compass, we do not tolerate any form of discrimination. I believe passionately in equality and diversity, and now is a galvanising moment for Compass UK & Ireland as well as in wider society.

    We have more work to do around diversity. There is not going to be a one size fits all approach and we need to be able to have an open dialogue with all our people. We will embark on a programme of education about the conversations we have to have, how to have them and identify a way forward.
