Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity Gold Bridge Partner Status Confirmed for Compass Group UK & Ireland

We’re pleased to demonstrate our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant even further by supporting the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity by signing up to its Gold Bridge Partnership. This affiliation will see us sponsor key events in the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity calendar, supporting employee fundraising, attending partner events, and providing catering and hospitality for a variety of RNRMC functions over the course of the year. We are also selling a selection of branded RNRMC merchandise via our on-site shops within the Defence estate to assist with brand awareness and overall fundraising objectives.

ESS, the market leading, Defence and government services arm of Compass Group UK & Ireland, provides services to a number of Naval sites within the South West, including HMS Excellent in Portsmouth, the home of the RNRMC headquarters. It was at HMS Excellent that a plaque acknowledging this special Gold Bridge Partnership was presented to Mark Webster, Managing Director of ESS. The occasion was marked by providing a celebratory VIP lunch for 16 guests from the local Naval hierarchy and those associated with the RNRMC. Adrian Bell, CEO, RNRMC spoke at the dinner: “This is a really exciting and innovative partnership and I’m hugely grateful for the genuine interest and commitment shown by ESS both corporately and individually. I am delighted that ESS is offering the RNRMC so many different ways of interacting with and supporting our beneficiaries.”
