The expert team assisted with the £1million makeover that included building a new entrance and installing a range of popular retail brands so patients, staff and visitors to the hospital could enjoy a range of delicious dining options.
The retail and dining outlets installed in the project included M&S Simply Food, Costa, an Amigo convenience store and a casual dining restaurant called Lifestyle.
Caring & catering for hospital patients & visitors
The hospital can be difficult places to visit at times, but the use of familiar retail brands and dining facilities had an important part to play in calming nerves, providing respite and being a comforting reminder of the outside world in Bradford.
As well as uplifting patients and their families, the dining and refreshment options available were equally important to the team who work in them. Fuelling the workforce properly meant that they could give the best service possible, which is particularly appreciated in sensitive settings such as healthcare.
